What Is This Service?
Stretcher transport is our highest level of support, designed for patients who are non-ambulatory and must remain in a lying-down position during transport. Our specialized vehicles are equipped with medical-grade stretchers and securement systems, ensuring that even the most vulnerable patients travel with dignity, comfort, and complete safety.
Who Is This For?
This service is for patients with severe mobility limitations who cannot sit upright for medical or physical reasons. This includes post-operative patients, individuals with advanced medical conditions, patients with severe injuries, and anyone whose medical needs require them to remain lying down during transport.
What to Expect
Our trained driver arrives in a stretcher-equipped vehicle. They carefully assist with transferring the patient onto the stretcher (with family or facility staff assistance as needed), secure the stretcher using the vehicle securement system, and ensure the patient is comfortable with appropriate padding and safety straps. The patient remains in a lying position throughout the journey. At the destination, the driver assists with transferring the patient off the stretcher and into the care of the receiving facility or family.
